Following a first cycle of lectures which took place in the first half of 2021, the Hellenistic Central Asia Research Network’s online lecture series Ancient Central Asia and Beyond will continue a second cycle. This begins on the 20th of October 2021 with a panel discussion on the current situation in Afghanistan and its impacts on cultural heritage and the scholarly community. The first five lectures are advertised on the poster below.
The lecture series takes place on Zoom every two weeks on Wednesdays at 15:00 CEST/CET. Prior registration is not necessary. To attend, go to bactria.org on the day of the lecture, where the Zoom link and passcode will be available.
